ABOUT THYMOB

The synthetic form of thymosin beta-4

Thymosin beta-4 is a 43-amino-acid peptide found in nearly all human and animal cells, where it is the principal regulator of G-actin — the building block of the cellular cytoskeleton. Through this actin-binding role it participates in cell migration, tissue organisation and repair processes.

TB-500 is the synthetic version of this peptide used throughout the research literature. Thymob™ supplies it as a defined, batch-documented reference material for research and analytical applications, with identity and purity verified on every lot.

RESEARCH BACKGROUND

A peptide at the centre of regeneration research

A landmark study published in Nature showed that thymosin beta-4 activates integrin-linked kinase and promotes the migration and survival of cardiac cells. In a murine model of myocardial infarction, systemic or local administration improved cardiomyocyte survival and cardiac function — establishing the peptide as a leading candidate in cardiac repair research.

Beyond the heart, thymosin beta-4 has been studied extensively in dermal wound healing and corneal repair models, and synthetic thymosin beta-4 has been evaluated in human clinical trials for wound and ophthalmic indications. It remains one of the most cited peptides in tissue-regeneration literature.

OUR TECHNOLOGY

Pressurized Dark-Room Fragmented Lyophilization

Thymob™ is lyophilised using CoreyPauling's proprietary Pressurized Dark-Room Fragmented Lyophilization process, which protects the peptide from light and oxidative stress during freeze-drying. The result is stability that conventional lyophilisates cannot match.

90+ days

Near-stable at room temperature

The lyophilised powder remains almost fully stable for over 90 days at room temperature — forgiving of transit delays and customs holds without loss of integrity.

3 years

Stable in cold storage

Stored cold at 2–8°C, Thymob™ retains full stability for the shelf life stated on every label, from the date of manufacture.

Thymob™ is analytical grade only. CoreyPauling does not encourage or support its use in humans or veterinary applications.

QUALITY & MANUFACTURING

Every batch documented

STD

International standards

Manufactured under internationally recognised quality standards with controlled environments and validated processes at every production step.

HPLC

Analytical verification

Identity, purity and content are verified by HPLC and complementary analytical methods before any batch is released.

LOT

Full traceability

Lot, manufacturing and expiry data are printed on every sachet and vial, tied to batch records and the Certificate of Analysis.

STORAGE & HANDLING

Cold chain, door to door

Store cold at 2–8°C

Keep refrigerated for full shelf life. Do not freeze. Protect vials from light and keep them in the original sachet until use; brief room-temperature excursions are tolerated thanks to our lyophilization process.

Insulated export shipping

Wholesale consignments ship in insulated packaging with cooling elements and temperature indicators, with export documentation prepared per destination.
